NO LONGER NEED FOR RESTRICTIONS
Slovenia opens border with Croatia
The Slovenian government has made a decision according to which, due to the similarity of the epidemiological situation related to Covid-19, there is currently no need for previously imposed restrictions when entering the country from Croatia.
"The government was acquainted with the epidemiological situation in the Republic of Croatia prepared by the National Institute of Public Health, which shows that the risk of spreading Covid-19 infection in both countries is similar, and that there is currently no need for special restrictions between the two countries, nor the need for quarantine or self-isolation when crossing the border," the Slovenian government said in a statement reported by Hina.
After declaring the end of the coronavirus epidemic at the end of last week and announcing that it would reopen the borders for EU citizens but with a preliminary assessment of the epidemiological situation in each of the countries, after relaxing measures on the border with Croatia, Slovenia is working to reach similar agreements with other neighboring states.
