AMENDMENTS TO THE LAW

Whoever calls RS and Serbs genocidal will be held criminally liable

One of the changes to the law agreed upon by the leaders of the Republika Srpska in Banja Luka will be that whoever calls the Srpska or the Serbian people genocidal goes to prison.

RS President Zeljka Cvijanovic announced two legal solutions that will be sent to the parliamentary procedure this week, and stressed that they are extremely important and are the result of an agreement between the leaders of Parliamentary parties.

Although the representatives of the parties did not want to talk about what it was about, Cvijanović stated that these legal solutions would be sent to the parliamentary procedure by the parliamentary clubs of all political parties in Republika Srpska and expressed confidence that it would happen in the next few days.

As Klix.ba reports, these are two legal solutions that should be found at a special session of the NARS on Friday, and they treat the calling of the RS a genocidal creation or the Serbian people genocidal.

That would mean that anyone who calls RS a genocidal creation or the Serbian people genocidal, will be held criminally liable. In this way, RS political representatives want to "respond" to Incko's decision to amend the BiH Criminal Code, which bans and punishes genocide denial.

The second law in preparation concerns the rejection of all decisions imposed by the High Representative of the international community in BiH.
