NIGHT AT THE BARRICADES

Peacefully at Jarinje, citizens are still blocking the crossing

The situation at the Jarinje border crossing is calm this morning, and the traffic on the Raska-Mitrovica road is still interrupted.

According to the Radio Television of Serbia (RTS), Serbs from the north of Kosovo spent last night at the barricades at that crossing, dissatisfied with Pristina's decision to introduce license plates with the RKS sign for all vehicles entering from central Serbia.

RTS reported that the citizens will remain at the barricades in improvised tents, until a compromise solution is found between Belgrade and Pristina.

During the night, more trucks were brought, so the blockade is now three kilometers long, RTS added.
