BLINKEN CALLS

BiH leaders to give up balancing on the brink of war

Last night, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken sent a message to the leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina ahead of the OSCE meeting in Stockholm.

As Blinken wrote on Twitter, the United States remains firm in its commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"BiH leaders should give up balancing on the brink of war and build consensus to ensure a better future for all its citizens," Blinken said on Twitter, Klik.ba reports.

The 28th Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) will be held on 2 and 3 December 2021 in Stockholm, Sweden.

The annual meeting of the foreign ministers of the 57 OSCE participating States, attended by Blinken, will be held at the invitation of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde.
