KNEZEVIC SAYS
"The decision made in the interest of Bojanic and opposition”
The Democratic Front official, Milan Knezevic said that he has made the decision to voluntarily go to serve his sentence in the Institute for the Enforcement of Criminal Sanctions (ZIKS) in the best interest of presidential campaign of Mladen Bojanic and further homogenization of the opposition.
Earlier today Knezevic went to the ZIKS to serve the four-months prison sentence for attack on the police officer on October 17th 2015.
He said that he dedicated 20 years of his life to the uncompromising fight against the Djukanovic’s regime and that with his political engagement so far he did not endanger the common opposition actions and interests.
"The result of my fight is known. I was sentenced to four months of imprisonment in one political process. For seven months I am accused in another political process, while in the third I was labelled as a leader of the criminal group who told the DPS delegates the truth, "Knezevic said in a statement to the media.
As he said, with his political action he has become an unclear conscience that daily reminds of the truth.
"Because of these truths I have been convicted, and I am still being tried in order to force me to revise my views on some new geopolitical Goli Otok and make a compromise with fear," Knezevic added.
