REQUEST TO THE ASSEMBLY

The prosecution asks Medojevic's immunity to be abolished

The Special State Prosecutor's Office has filed a request to the Parliament of Montenegro for abolishing the immunity of Democratic Front MP NebojsaMedojevic, TVCG confirms.

The chairman of the assembly's administrative board, Luigi Skrelja, said to the Antena M that he had not received such a request of that body.

"Up to this point, nothing has arrived at the address of the Administrative Board, or to the Board Service nor to me personally, related to Medojevic's immunity," Skrelja said, adding that such a request, according to the procedure, arrives first to the Cabinet of the Assembly President.

In the event that such a request arrives, the Board session shall be scheduled in accordance with established procedures.

The Prosecution allegedly sent the request after stating that Medojevic's name is noted in a note book found in the safe deposit box of the Atlas Group owner, the runaway businessman DuskoKnezevic.

Knezevic denied the claim that there were any note book in which he wrote notes. He also states that he had never given money to Medojevic, but to the DPS officials.
