THE COURT OF APPEAL

Appeal for the attempted on terrorism filed

Defense attorneys have appealed to the Court of Appeal against the judgments that have Andrija Mandic, Milan Knezevic, Branka Milic and Mihailo Cadenovic convicted of an attempted of terrorism in parliamentary elections in 2016. They demand that the Podgorica High Court's first instance verdict be quashed and the case returned for retrial.

Radosavljevic said that he, as a defender of Milan Knezevic, filed a 300-page complaint and a CD with its contents attached in order to allow the court to become more familiar with the allegations.

He explained that in the appeal he requested that the judgment be reversed meaning that that he asks Knezevic to be acquitted.

"The second proposal is to quash the judgment and return the case to the court of first instance for the retrial, but before the amended panel, because this panel is unable to judge again. They were incapable of making a legitimate decision then and they will be incapable to make it later too, " Radosavljevic said.
