Nrekic and four associates in SC Ulcinj

The President of the Municipality of Ulcinj, Ljoro Nrekic, and four of his associates are in the Ulcinj Security Center, where they should be questioned in connection with the investigation into illegal employment in the Municipality of Ulcinj.

Unofficially, they are charged with the criminal offense of negligent work in the service. Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic announced on Twitter that the President of the Municipality of Ulcinj and several other officials had been arrested.

Apart from Nrekic, the secretaries of the local services S.O., M.G., S.M., as well as M.M. are detained.

"The mayor of Ulcinj and the head of the local DPS were arrested, along with several other officials. The reason is party employment!" Abazovic stated on Twitter.

"It is clear to the citizens. The government is determined to put to an end all abuses!", Abazovic concluded.

The investigation into illegal employment in the Municipality of Ulcinj was launched at the beginning of February last year.
