Montenegro is not late with vaccination
Molecular biologist Aleksandra Trifunovic believes that Montenegro has not been late with vaccination and that it has started relatively recently all over the world.
"Vaccination all over the world started much slower than we had hoped. This is primarily because the number of vaccines is insufficient to cover all needs. I think that the vaccines arrived in Montenegro at the right time and that people should be vaccinated en masse as soon as possible," said Trifunovic in the morning program of TVCG.
When it comes to the new strain, she explains that it is spreading much faster and that from the initial few cases it has become the prevalent strain in Britain, and that 70-80 percent of people have it.
She says that the symptoms look like the old strain, except that those infected more often have a bad clinical picture with more frequent muscle pains, stronger cough and drowsiness.
