More than 630 students and 190 teachers infected

Since the beginning of the school year 631 students and 190 teachers and professors have been infected with coronavirus in Montenegro.

On the website COVID-19 and education it was announced that 341 students were infected in primary schools, 256 in secondary schools, and 34 children in preschool institutions.

 

The highest infection rate among teaching staff was recorded in primary schools where 100 infected teachers were registered, in secondary schools 48 and in pre-school institutions 42.

 

Weekly examinations are available on the site, showing the total number of institutions, teachers and children, the number of newly ill teachers and children, the total number of infected and the number of teachers and children in self-isolation.

 

431 new cases of infection among students and 110 among teachers was recorded last week.

 

236 students and 58 teachers were infected last week in primary schools, 169 students and 26 teachers in secondary schools, and there were 26 new cases among students and teaching staff in preschool institutions.

 

There are 1,649 students and 196 teachers in self-isolation, of which 961 students and 105 primary school teachers.

 

There are 308 students and 39 professors from high schools in self-isolation, and 380 students and 52 teachers from preschool institutions.
