SRZENTIC AT THE SUMMIT

Dedicated to more efficient improvement of digital transformation

The Ministry of Public Administration, Digital Society and Media is committed to more efficient improvement of digital transformation programs, as well as providing better communication, cross-border cooperation and data exchange with the region, the European Union, companies and the civil sector in order to meet citizens' needs.

This was announced by the Minister of Public Administration, Digital Society and Media Tamara Srzentic at the opening of the IV Digital Summit of the Economy of the Western Balkans.

She said they envisioned an ambitious roadmap in the ministry, which aims to improve people's interaction with the government and provide better access to services, while building digitally empowered talent and workforce and boosting the digital economy.

"Our team firmly believes in unleashing the power of state data and technology to encourage innovation in our country and the region and improve the quality of services to the people we serve," Srzentic pointed out.

She said that the Digital Summit is being held at a time of global challenge, emphasizing that it is especially important to join forces in the Western Balkans, connect points, exchange experiences and lessons learned on the implementation of previously approved agreements and obligations, as well as new perspectives and areas for cooperation - "all for the benefit and quality of life of our citizens."

Speaking about the long-term economic recovery, Srzentic said that the citizens of Montenegro strive for support and connection, while keeping their data safe, protected and accessible.
