PRIME MINISTER

There is no fiscal estimate for maternity benefits

Montenegrin Prime Minister ZdravkoKrivokapic answers questions from representatives of parliamentary clubs in parliament, and the main questions concern the rule of law and the current economic situation in the country.

Answering the question of the representative of the Democrats - Demos - Peace is Our Nation club Boris Bogdanovic whether the Government will give a positive opinion on restoring benefits to mothers based on the birth of three or more children, and restoring child allowance for children under 18, the Prime Minister reminded that more than 22,000 women in Montenegrois entitled to compensation.

He said that the Government supports any initiative aimed at social justice, stating that no fiscal assessment of those costs has been made to the state budget.

"Only solutions that are sustainable in the long run should be considered," Krivokapic said.

The proposal for child allowance for children up to the age of 18 was also submitted without a fiscal estimate to the budget, which is why it is necessary to make an estimate of how much money is needed for that purpose.

Dissatisfied with the answer of the Prime Minister, Bogdanovic reminded of the statements of the Minister of Finance MilojkoSpajic, who said that there is money.
