Vujanovic: Political not legal interpretation

Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic said that his interpretation of re-candidacies for the post, he sees as a political, not a legal question.

"I am continuously telling public, that I have a clear legal position and that I

retain it for myself , since being on a position as president of the country I do not want to influence on anyone, not even the members of the National Electoral Commission and the judges of the Constitutional Court, " Vujanovic says in an interview for Daily ‘’Vijesti“.

Vujanovic said he respects the opposition's position that does not continuously  stand out this as a problem or at least one part of opposition does not  emphasize this.

"I understand that the opposition will not initiate proceedings before the Constitutional Court and I respect that. "said Vujanovic.

He said that SDP leader Ranko Krivokapic attacks him because he is "confident

he is the only true measure of Montenegrism ."

Vujanovic said he was proud of his Montenegrism.

"But above all, I am proud of the fact that I am a citizen of Montenegro, who is not anti-Bosniak or even anti- Albanian, anti- Croatian nor particularly anti-Serb. To be for Montenegro, does not mean to be against some other. On the contrary it means to be for others, "said Vujanovic.
