VOJINOVIC SAID
Political affiliation will not be a ticket to a place in education
The Minister of Education MiomirVojinovic underlined that political and any other affiliation will not be a ticket to a place in education.
Speaking about the lawsuits of the dismissed school principals, he said that the Ministry will respect every court decision, whatever it may be. He said in the morning program "Good morning Montenegro" that he would look at how to get out of that situation with the lowest possible costs.
Vojinovic said that the problem of educators is the material status, which has been improved by the Europe project now, but not enough. Then transportation that was not paid to them, but also transportation of students from rural areas.
"You also have lawsuits against the Ministry of Education of former principals. It is not up to me to comment on court decisions. What I, as the first man of education, can say is that we will respect every court decision, whatever it may be. "What I want to say is that we will lookat how the Ministry can get out of this with the lowest possible cost," he said.
He promised that political and any other affiliation would not be a ticket to any place in education.
"Of course, there is an inspection that will determine whether some director does not meet the conditions or works beyond what the law is and what is good. But what I am telling you is that no educator will face any kind of punishment or revenge for belonging or not to a certain group," Vojinovic said.
The basis of everything, says the minister, is to exclude politics from education.
"One way is for the teachers' council to be part of a system that will decide who will take the position of school principal," the minister said.
