Abazovic questioned about threats, bribery to be investigated

Chief Special Prosecutor MilivojeKatnic confirmed for daily Dan that the Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro, DritanAbazovic, gave a statement before the prosecutor regarding the threats sent to him via social networks.

He also announced that an investigation is underway in relation to Abazovic's statement that someone offered him money, which he talked about in the show –‘’Nacisto’’.

Katnic could not say whether there was political corruption in the specific case, but pointed out that the prosecution would carry out all checks and investigate the case, after which it would be determined whether the case was within the competence of the special prosecutor.

Representatives of GP URA recently announced that the president of that party received serious threats. The media reported that Abazovic was threatened by a member of a criminal group from the region.
