PM MARKOVIC LAUNCHES SIGNAL

RTCG goes digital

Prime Minister DuskoMarkovic officially launched the signal that began digital broadcasting of Radio and Television of Montenegro (RTCG), saying that from today it is enabled for the citizens of our country to have the highest possible standard in receiving images and sound and that this act is important not only for the development of RTCG, but it has a historical significance for the state of Montenegro.

"I want to express, personally and on behalf of the Government of Montenegro, the great pleasure of this act, civilizational and technological, as we all witness the introduction of Radio and Television of Montenegro to the era of modern digital television and radio programs. First of all, I would like to congratulate the development team and the technical team of Radio and Television of Montenegro, DirectorBozidarSundic, his management and, of course, all the employees on this fantastic development result. This is a special day in the development of Radio and Television of Montenegro, which has historical significance not only for RTCG but also for the state of Montenegro," the Prime Minister said at the ceremony.

The Prime Minister added that RTCG has national attributes and a mission not only to objectively and realistically report to our citizens, but to put every information and event in a realistic context, the context of a serious and responsible understanding of what is happening in Montenegro in every sense - political, economic and, of course, developmental.

"Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to honour the efforts you have made for national broadcaster to serve this mission, to provide the infrastructure and HR potential to achieve such a development achievement," Prime Minister DuskoMarkovic said at the ceremony marking 75 years of Radio Montenegro and 55 years of Television of Montenegro.
