EUR 1.5 million for infrastructure

The Government of Montenegro has provided EUR 1.15 million for the implementation of projects that are planned by the capital budget in municipalities of Mojkovac, Gusinje and Kolasin. The Public Works Administration signed three new contracts relating to these projects.

The contracts relate to the construction of supporting facilities on the promenade at the former waste heap in Mojkovac in order to create conditions for the continuation of this location valorization for sports and recreational purposes. The contractor, Niksic - based company "Temko", has obliged to build a park with trails on the part of the promenade within 70 days from the start of works. The agreed value of the works is around EUR 154.000.

A 63-meter long walkway over the Podgorica – BijeloPolje road is under construction and it will link the sport and recreation area with the city centre, thus contributing to greater safety of the traffic participants.

The Public Works Administration and Danilovgrad based company "Eurozoks" signed a contract on the continuation of the construction of the city market in Gusinje. Investment within the second phase of works amounts to nearly EUR 480.000 and the agreed deadline for the works completion is 120 days from the day the works start.

This project's implementation will enable the citizens of Gusinje to get a modern building area of 763 square meters which will meet all the technical and sanitary standards. Rough construction and roofingwere completed in the first phase, which was finished late last year, while all the remaining works are planned to be performed at the final phase of construction.
