STIJOVIC PROMISED

Assistance and repair of damage for those endangered by floods

The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Aleksandar Stijovic promised help to the locals endangered by the floods in Zabljak Crnojevica, which will be provided in the form of fodder and hay at the request of households whose stocks were partly destroyed by water. The ministry will also help repair the damage the households have suffered in the livestock fund.

A delegation from the Ministry, led by Minister Aleksandar Stijovic, visited Zabljak Crnojevica and talked to the locals endangered by the floods in order to offer them adequate help and support.

The locals sent a request to the minister to provide them with access to the water supply, because even though they are only two kilometers from the regional water supply, they do not have drinking water.

Minister Stijovic and the citizens agreed that the lack of drinking water is the biggest problem of this region and an insurmountable obstacle to the development of Zabljak Crnojevica as a tourist destination and a place adequate for the life of citizens in the 21st century.
