SOLIDARITY FUND

Montenegro applied for € 425,000 in EU assistance

The Government of Montenegro has applied for the EU Solidarity Fund assistance and if the application is accepted, it could get € 425,000 from the European Commission grants.

The European Integration Office told the Pobjeda daily that the Government of Montenegro at no time gave up applying for the European Union Solidarity Fund, but, with the coordination of the European Integration Office, it successfully applied for the available funds.

"Namely, in accordance with the deadlines and instructions received from the European Commission, on June 5, 2020, a letter of intent was sent to the Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission regarding the management of the Solidarity Fund, while on June 24, 2020 a full application has been submitted to obtain available funds ", explained the EU Office.

If Brussels accepts the Montenegrin application, our country will receive € 425,000 support from the EU.
