HRAPOVIC SAID
Full lockdown is still an option
The complete lockdown has not been removed from the agenda, but only temporarily postponed, said the Minister of Health and the President of the National Coordination Body (NKT) Kenan Hrapovic.
During the TVCG’s ”Jutarnji program” he said they would not wait December 1 to adopt new measures, but, if necessary, they could choose an extremely restrictive model, the so-called lockdown.
"I think and believe that these three simple measures - wearing masks, respecting distance and hygiene - can be a model of behavior in order to avoid that restrictive model," Hrapovic said.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, he says, they have been guided exclusively by the profession standards and the recommendations of the competent health authorities.
Adopting the new measures, they thought about economic activities and the normal course of schooling.
"Total locking would separate us from family, friends, which would lead to an increase in symptomatic states of psychosis, which are difficult conditions," said Hrapovic.
The state, he says, has done everything in its power to adopt appropriate measures, and it is the individual responsibility of all of us to respect the measures.
