VACCINATION IN PODGORICA

The central point should be Sports Center Moraca

Vaccination in the capital will begin next week, perhaps as early as Monday, the acting Director of the Health Center Podgorica Dr. Danilo Jokic said.

Jokic said that Montenegro is approaching the number of 1000 deaths from covid infection.

"It is a great loss for this area. We have few inhabitants and these statistics seem painful, especially for health workers," said Jokic as a guest on the show "Chronicle of Podgorica" on Montenegrin Television.

The Ministry of Health announced that vaccination should start next week. Jokic says that they received the guidelines of the Institute of Public Health, and that 6 points were formed the Capital.

"Vaccination points will be in Tuzi and Golubovci, and vaccination can start in the city center, in the Health Centers in Gornja Gorica, Stara Varos and the Military Medical Center," Jokic said.

He also pointed out that negotiations are underway for the central vaccination point in the capital to be the Sports Center Moraca.
