As it was announced from that government department, BorovinicBojovic informed Ambassador Maddox that in the coming period the delivery of vaccine contingents is expected according to the established dynamics, among which, in addition to Russian Sputnik, Chinese Synopharm, American Pfizer,is also British vaccine AstraZeneca, which in the amount of 84thousands arrives in Montenegro through the Covaxmechanism.She stated that the vaccination will be carried out in accordance with the National Strategy for the Introduction, Distribution and Application of Covid-19 Vaccines.

"Dr BorovinicBojovic presented to the ambassador the plans of the Ministry of Health in the process of digitalization of the health system and the new platform"Corona response", which is being prepared at the level of the Government of Montenegro, where citizens can get all answers and information regarding the Covid-19 virus epidemic.", the announcement stated.

According to the ministry, the British ambassador Karen Maddox said that she was proud that the Government of the United Kingdom supported the development and testing of the Oxfordvaccine.

"The British government has helped raise $ 1 billion for the Covax mechanism, along with other donors. With over £ 548 million in pledged support from the UK, we will help distribute over a billion doses of coronavirus vaccine," Maddox said.
